Demona

Demona alias Dominique Destine from Gargoyles. I have so much to say about this show. Gargoyle is one of the greatest cartoons ever made, it’s so mature, riddled with Shakespearean themes and it tackled so many adult topics. It really challenged its audience not only in topics but also in characters. Demona could easily be the greatest anti-hero of all time because her drive for vengeance came from the deep love of her people. She wasn’t bad for the sake of being bad, she had so much depth and even as a 10 year old I remember understanding this. I can still rewatch all seasons on Disney + and just be in awe with the maturity of this show.
