Psylocke

Betsy Braddock Alias Psylocke, one of my favorite X-Men. So Psylocke is a British telepath, but she was found by The Hand and her mind was placed in the body of an asian ninja named Kwannon. Psylocke was recently given back her original body but because this is what she’s looked like for the past 30 years, this is what I associate with her so it’s the form I drew. She clearly looks asian and that’s something that was important to me, a lot of comic book artists draw all the characters with Caucasian features, even the none Caucasian ones. I remember not even realizing until I read Storm’s wedding arc to T’Challa, written and illustrated by black artists, it was the first time I ever saw Storm with African facial features and it shook me, it felt like whitewashing and it made me angry. So yeah, I’m really happy she clearly looks asian.
