Cheetara

So this is Cheetara, one of my childhood queens. Even though I was born in 1990 I caught a healthy amount of 80s cartoons and Thundercats stuck with me. I did her running because a. she’s a speedster and b. I read in an essay once that comic book artists don’t like to create female speedsters because it’s hard for them to make them “pretty” while running. I drew this to prove a point. Female superhero characters don’t need to be pretty (which is a pretty subjective term anyways), they just need to be badass. Anyhow I really loved making this and it was good practice to do an (almost) full body.
