Dark Phoenix / Jean Grey

Jean Grey during one of her Dark Phoenix episodes. Ok so I’ve mentioned before I’m an X-Men connoisseur, well guess what? I’m not a Jean Grey fan. I find her more interesting when she’s dead. None the less, the Dark Phoenix Saga is to date one of the best comics ever written, all thanks to the X-Daddy Chris Claremont. Also this was HARD. Like the dragon scales were tedious and hair is difficult but nothing trumps metal. Metal in my opinion is the hardest thing to paint, the light and shadow are so harsh it’s a nightmare so this I’m particularly proud of.
