00CF9F - Nymph in lake

Originally her face was going to be half submerged in water but then I thought there would barely be anything to paint so we ended up here. I love doing water scenes, I find them incredibly inspiring. Overall this was a nice piece to do, very relaxing. Also props to Monet, lily pads are not as easy to paint as I thought they were. I’m slowly warming up to doing more backgrounds. The glowing water reminds me of the bioluminescent bays of home.
