Mother of Cats - Self Portrait

This is Paola, of House Illustration. First of her Name, Queen of the Brushes, Inks & First Sketches, Lady of Metal, Breaker of Pencils, Mother of Cats.

As a classically trained artist I did a lot of self portraits back in the day, recently though, not that many. I am not blessed with the art of photography, I don’t like dealing with lighting, I don’t know my angles and I don’t have pretty dresses or nice places to take majestic photos. So I made this instead, and I’m incredibly proud of it. And it has all my authentic cat children, Lolo the eldest up top, Sanse the middle child is scratching it up in the armrest and Gati-Gatasha is on my lap.
